Dr. Macy tells his colleagues how Donald Brown became radioactive and that he has Plutonium in his body. After a full autopsy is done on Donald Brown they learn that the body is not Donald Brown at all but someone else.

While in Mexico Dr. Macy learns that no autopsy was performed on the dead woman. Dr. Macy decides to stay in Mexico and track down Brad Halford. Back in Boston the District Attorney plays a tape from 5 years ago. The tape contains the voice of a woman named Sue who witnessed the crime 5 years ago. Jordan gets Sue to try to talk about the murder of a woman named Anne Siver who called the morgue 5 years ago. Sue is not ready to tell Jordan exactly what she saw. Sue finally tells Jordan that she saw Ann Seaver being raped through a peephole and feels that the death was her fault. Jordan tries unsuccessfully to tell the police what she saw. Jordan tells Macy to come home and wonders why they become attached to the crimes they are trying to solve.
When Woody and Devan try to identify the remains of a dead baby they are in for a big surprise. Woody and Devan believe they have identified the remains of the baby belonging to a woman named Althea Hurd. Woody and Devan get a shock when they see the daughter alive and well. Jordan and Devan try to figure out why a 16-year-old student named Stephen Hayes died. Devan suspects that the 16- year old possibly died as a result of cocaine in his system. The autopsy report indicates that Stephen Hayes died from taking different drugs and not cocaine. Jordan learns that Stephen died as a result of a drug bust used to cover up an affair that the principal was having. Stephen knew about the affair and was told not to say anything. Jordan and Devan learn that he took his seizure medication and was able to hide it quite well.
Dr. Macy was trying to help a person who was hit by a car. He worked at a diner and was trying to return a pocketbook to a customer. The reporter was killed by politician's aid. The reporter was going to write a story about a relationship the politician was having with a very young hooker. The reporter refused to not run the story and the aid killed him. The hit and run person that Dr. Macy saved and turned up in his morgue the next day. It was found out that one of the ambulance drivers had a father die because it took 45 minutes to get to the hospital her dad died. She did not like the fact that criminals were saved and her dad died. So she went after people with a criminal history. Dr. Macy found a heart stopping drug in her bag of supplies.
Woody is up for a promotion and is worried that the latest case might cause him not to get it. Woody and Nigel try to figure out how the author of " Vampires Revealed " died. Woody believes that Frank Jones knew the author quite well. Woody learns that Frank Jones died 3 years ago and is using a fake identity. Woody learns that a man named Alex Dwyer was hired to stalk Jane. Bug does a CAT scan on the dead man to hopefully discover why and how he died without doing an autopsy. He soon discovers that Warfarin was found in his system.

Woody believes that her husband Dan may have possibly caused his wife's death after learning the history of domestic violence. This episode does not involve Jordan's investigation into her mother's murder or the shooting of the police officer who knew Jordan's parents. Instead it is about her preventing her father from being arrested for the death of Tom Malden and the subsequent confrontation with her brother."

Jordan tries everything possible to learn if Louis Jeffries committed the murder of Davis Perry. Things become complicated when Jordan and Woody investigate another message from the artist they find his fingerprints on a crystal vase. Jordan and Woody learn that Louis Jeffries was set up and was watching his ex girlfriend have an affair.
Garrett is asked to forensically try to put Daniel Harrison back in prison after being convicted of killing his wife Julie 10 years ago. The District Attorney tells Garrett that Clarissa Harrison got her father out of prison on a technicality. Clarissa runs into Garrett with a box of files that contains the research she had done to prove that her father had told someone else to have an affair with his wife.
Jordan gets word of a dead body in a house she used to be scared to go into as a kid. After Jordan and Nigel go into the house they find the skeletal remains of her husband. Nigel and Jordan believe that Lois McPhearson may have killed her husband. When Jordan examines the body she begins to think that the wife didn't kill her husband and someone else did. Jordan and Nigel learn that Judge Leland McPhearson prosecuted a convicted murderer.
Bill Avery drops by the medical examiner's office and asks Jordan former help in investigating a murder that took place in 1964. Jordan is given some information that indicates Jackson Avery was shot in the back with bullets that contained birdshot. Nigel gets evidence from Dr. Anderson that contains the autopsy done on Jackson Avery and four bullets that are buckshot and not birdshot. Which leads to more questions than answers.
Woody asks for help in locating a body that is clean-cut, shaved has a deep cut and is nearly bald and in his mid 50's. Garrett and Jordan soon find the body they're looking for, proving Garrett's hunch that serial killer Leviathan has started killing again. Jordan learns the killings started back in 1995 after she left Boston. While Woody and Detective Santana are interviewing the prime suspect about the killings are they learn he has some amazing talents. Jordan and Garrett fear that the serial killer may have changed his pattern in killing the latest victim leading them to believe that there might be a copycat. As Woody continues to interrogate the suspect he finds that the suspect likes to learn about pain people go through. Jordan and Nigel begin to explain the Blue Moon theory that Leviathan uses to kill and hide the bodies.
Woody and Jordan head investigate the death of Tommy O'Brien who flew in from Las Vegas with three million dollars handcuffed to wrists. They also see two people along with the dead man. The casino host (Sam) and security guard Danny McCoy end up as suspects in the murder of Tommy O'Brien. Danny McCoy tells Woody that he hit Tommy O'Brien because he felt he was getting too close to Sam. Jordan figures out that the punch Danny McCoy had given Tommy O'Brien didn't kill him. Jordan believes his cause of death was due to a heart attack. The actual cause of death was eating poisson cookies.
Devan asks Jordan to do the graveyard shift at the morgue after having pulled a double shift. Nigel tells Jordan about plane crash that hasn't happened yet. At the crash site Garrett begins taking pieces of evidence from the crash victims and trying to identify the victims. Woody tries to get more help from the FAA because the crash happened in the air and is a possible homicide as he is waiting to talk to someone on the phone the flight manifest comes up on the printer. To ease the heartache over losing Devan Woody concentrates his efforts on finding a missing boy who is in need of medication.
Woody get suspicions when a college fencing student is thought to have died from a suicide but actually died from asphyxiation. Jordan learns that David Parks died when it was 5 years old. Woody questions and fencing student about an affair David may have had with his professor. Nigel and Garrett finding a dead body in a motel room they have a big problem on their hands when they discover the organs are missing. Garrett and Nigel learn Dr. Shyler was arrested eight years ago for buying an organ for his uncle who needed it. Detective Carver and Garrett talk with the doctor who removed the organs from the bodies and learn that he wanted no money for removing the organs. Detective Carver asks for his help in the case.

Woody gets to look inside an FBI agent's laptop that lists for names including Samantha Ray. Those people were supposed to testify against a drug lord. The FBI agent believes that Samantha killed the people in the diner to stay loyal to the drug lord. Sydney gets his first lesson in death notification as he tells a wife that her husband died he gets a surprising reaction. Sydney also learns a lesson about double bagging a loved ones personal affects so that nothing ends in the wrong place.
A crazed gunman opens fire in the morgue After Claudia Samson asks for help in identifying a dead body. Troy (who didn't have Huntington's disease offered) to test the drug on himself because the clinical trials for the drug were years away.

Garrett investigates what he believes are simple drug overdoses only he has a problem. When he does the autopsy on both victims he has trouble finding their cause of death. Garrett finds their cause of death in an unlikely place a cardigan sweater! Now that Dr. Macy has located the drug he and Nigel set out how to extract the drug from the sweater.
Nigel has to give a presentation to the American Medical Examiner's Association introducing the latest cutting edge methods. He introduces the trace evidence concentrator. The machine will be used in hopes of eliminating toe tags and cataloging all deceased bodies by bar code. Jordan learns that monster Kevin Cahill is out for revenge against Jordan's father. Max tells Jordan the reason the monster is out of prison is because of a cop killing case Max was working on 30 years ago. They later charged Cahill with murder. He was in prison for 30 years and is killing off those that put him in prison. Nigel discovers a flaw in his trace evidence concentrator. When to grieving parents come to look to the body of their deceased daughter they discover their daughters cause of death is messed up.
For Woody the case hits close to home after he and Jordan undercover bodies from a mass grave. After they get the identity of the first body they discover they have a mob hit Woody later learns his brother Calvin needs a lot of money to hide the truth about what he really knows. Woody ' s suspicions about his brother are confirmed when his cellphone rings and a man answers the phone. Jordan tries getting Woody and Calvin close together but Things begin to get dangerous when the monster Calvin is trying to get money for captures them.
Jordan, Woody and Garrett must race against the clock to try and keep an accused murderer behind bars. They quickly have to solve the murders of 14 women killed some 20 years ago. Jordan and Woody use the method of Locard's Exchange. Locard’s Exchange means that the perpetrator comes into contact with each crime scene leading something behind and each scene. Jordan and Woody try to find out why someone who worked at the Dominican Consulate was murdered after Nicole demands to see her husband. After she demands a thorough investigation Jordan is held hostage to do a live autopsy to find out exactly who murdered the dead man. Garrett learns that because of Danny's diplomatic immunity he was selling drugs and his friend was shot because he found out about it.
Garret meets Charlie Davis at a crime scene where a man (her ex-boyfriend) was stabbed 17 times (with a knife from her bar). During the autopsy a bruise in the shape of a stiletto heel is found on the victims body which further points to Charlie as being the killer. Charlie asks Garrett to prove her innocent but that may be hard to do when Detective Framus begins to suspect that Charlie 's (ex)-boyfriend isn't her only victim. Garret performs a live autopsy on Charlie to see if he can prove her innocent or guilty of murder. After the arrival of the exhumed bodies of Charlie's fiance (who had died a few years ago) and another of her ex-boyfriends (sometime after that), a disturbance is heard in the autopsy room (someone poured acid onto the bodies) just after Garret's record player begins to play the same song Charlie listened to when she was in his office.
Nigel seems unusually happy because he finally found a soul mate named Sarah now he vows to find Sara's daughter Maddie. Lily is surprised when a John Doe thought to be dead suddenly turns out to be alive. She then discovers a letter written by his wife Doris who he left some years earlier due to an affair he found out about. The John Doe was found in an alley behind a theater. Garrett finds out that Carl is an anatomy illustrator.
Dr. Macy's days at the morgue maybe numbered when Dr. Jack Slokum tells Garrett that the governor's special commission on crime has suspended him because a witness came forward with evidence that Garrett may have missed on a case 20 years ago. Dr. Slokum asks Garrett to come clean with the evidence on Sylvia Moreau or risk his job. Garrett tells Jack that Sylvia is injuries were consistent with a jump. Jack tells Garrett that Sylvia fell 23 ft. from a window, which is not consistent with a jump, but with a push leading him to suspect murder. Terrence Duvall was running for the Senate. Sylvia Moreau was a reporter covering the Senate campaign. The reason Garrett ruled Sylvia Moreau's death a suicide was because someone was trying to link Terrence Duvall to Sylvia Moreau 's death. Terence Duvall worked as a campaign manager for Joel Lancaster. Garrett's boss at the time tells that Terrence Duvall and Sylvia Moreau are about to get married and to keep it secret. Woody asks Jordan if she'd like to go to a concert. When Woody learns that Lily set Jordan up on a blind date he was very angry.
