Baby, You Can't Drive My Car

After the Finnerty's car is "stolen," Sean and Claudia excitedly look for a replacement car. Finally able to get a new car with the insurance money, Sean longingly eyes a sporty Probe and Claudia tries to talk him out of it. Meanwhile, Eddie tries to convince Sean and Claudia to add items to the insurance claim to jack up their pay-out Sean and Claudia debate the ethics of this and Claudia eventually convinces him to commit insurance fraud. Claudia discovers the spare keys to the car are missing. Just as she's about to call the police to report someone has stolen the keys from the house, Lily stops her. She confesses she took the keys so she and her boyfriend, Brad, can sit in the car and listen to a tape he made her. Sean and Claudia go easy on her because she came forward with the truth. However, their stripped car is returned to them by a tow truck -- the police have found it. Brad starts acting weird and the whole Finnerty family begin to grill him about what really happened to the car. During the interrogation Sean realizes Lily had more to do with the car disappearance than she's letting on. The truth comes out: Lily and Brad took the car to get burgers. While at the drive-thru she had an accident and broke the car's mirror and door off. Panciking, she calls Eddie for help. Eddie brings her to a chop shop run by his friend Anthony. While they are looking for parts, the car's back seat is stolen. Eddie replaces it with a futon. When they realize the car is too far damaged, Eddie suggests they just abandon it and pretend it was stolen. Lily is punished -- she will not be getting her learner's permit next year. When Sean and Eddie go back to the chop shop to get parts for the car, Sean is forced to pay $75 for his own back seat which has mysteriously turned up at the chop shop.

Dream On

Claudia tells Sean about a strange dream she had which ended with her having steamy sex with Eddie in an ally. Sean tells Eddie about the dream and his worries that Claudia is bored with their marriage. Sean decides to spice up their marriage. He rents a limo to whisk Claudia away for a romantic getaway and surprises her at work. Claudia is swamped at the restaurant where she works as hostess and tells Sean she can't possibly get away. He becomes even more angry when he notices she's not wearing her wedding ring. Claudia explains she gets better tips if the customers believe she's single. Sean becomes so outraged that when Claudia steps away to help a customer he steals her reservation book and dumps it on the street. Feeling guilty, he tries to get the book back, but it's missing. Sean goes home and tells his tale to Eddie, who says he knows where they can find the book. The do find the book from a street con man who asks $500 for the book. Sean refuses to pay and tries to take the book. The con man sprays Sean with pepper spray, and he flees without the book. Back at home, Claudia returns and apologizes to Sean for not being more receptive to his romantic efforts — still unaware that Sean stole her book. Sean comes clean and Claudia is furious. Eddie saves the day by returning with the book: he traded the con man for a bootleg copy of the new "Planet of the Apes" movie (which Eddie faked by putting a new label over an old movie). Elsewhere, Walt and the boys go apple picking. Walt brings home cider which turns out to be alcoholic. Thinking it's just apple juice, Lily and her girlfriend drink a lot of it and get drunk. Lily drunk-dials her crush, Jason, and gets him to come over. She makes a fool of herself when he arrives and Eddie kicks Jason out — believing he's the one who got her drunk.

Don't Let Me Download

Claudia is shocked to find some racy pictures downloaded on Jimmy's computer, and insists that she and Sean confront him about it, but Sean wants to ignore the situation. Later, Sean confesses to Walt that he downloaded the pictures, and its not long before Claudia discovers that Sean is the guilty culprit. Meanwhile, Lily gives Jimmy a picture of Sister Helen which they doctor and use as an e-mail joke. But when the e-mail is sent to Sister Helen, things aren't so funny anymore.

Rubber Sold

Sean and Eddie share a laugh when they see a kid nervously buying condoms at the store, but it's not very funny when Sean realizes it is Brad O'Keefe, his neighbor who has a crush on Lily. When Sean finds out that Brad's parents are out of town and that he is throwing a party—which Lily is attending—he immediately regrets telling Brad to live it up while his parents are away. When Lily doesn't come home from Brad's house by curfew, Sean is really worried....

Bang on a Drum

Claudia comes to the rescue of her friend who is desperately in need of a band to play at her wedding and offers up Sean and Eddie's "band" to play at the reception. Sean reminds Claudia of their disastrous performance at a bar mitzvah in high school, but Claudia tells Sean how sexy musicians are and Sean and Eddie agree to do the gig. In need of a drummer to round out the band, they find Dean, a hot guy from a nearby public school. Sean quickly figures out that Lily is smitten with Dean; he's all too familiar with the way Lily is looking at Dean since that's how Claudia looked at him in high school, and he knows what that led to. Meanwhile, Henry is convinced he is adopted when he can't find any baby pictures of himself, but Jimmy assures him he's not adopted—he's actually a robot.

Smoke on the Daughter

During a stressful day at work, Claudia takes a puff of a co-worker's cigarette which quickly turns into an entire cigarette and then a daily habit. Desperate to keep her smoking habit from Sean and the kids, Claudia tries her best to smoke without being found out, but is busted by Lily. Lily makes a deal with her - she won't say anything if Claudia will get her a cell phone and Claudia agrees. Sean thinks that Claudia's bizarre behavior lately has something to do with him, prompting him to buy her the expensive armoire Claudia was admiring recently at the flea market. When her quest for a cigarette leads to her digging through the trash and landing outside Brad O'Keefe's window, she realizes she has hit a new low and swears off her habit. Meanwhile, after setting a date with Dean on her new cell phone, Lily is humiliated to find out Dean heard her gushing about him when the phone didn't turn off.

I Saw Daddy Hitting Santa Claus

Sean gets ticked off with Walt, who's playing Santa Claus, when he promises Henry a $350 Astro Jammer Battle Buggy for Christmas. So Sean responds by bringing violence to Santaland. Meanwhile Lily tries to figure out if the blurry giftcard on her boxershorts reads "from Brad" or "from Dean."

Let's Talk About Sex, Henry

After Henry unexpectedly catches Sean and Claudia having sex, Sean is determined to handle the inevitable topic of the birds and the bees with Henry in a better way than Walt did with he and Eddie. After having a father/son talk with Henry about sex, Sean feels good about how he handled things. When Sean and Claudia catch word that they have a "reputation", they discover that Henry told his entire class about what he caught Sean and Claudia doing, forcing them to do some damage control.

Is She Really Going Out with Walt?

The Finnertys' plan to push Walt (Richard Riehle) back into the social scene backfires when he's social with a lady they don't like. Meanwhile, Lily fears that her bad behavior has thrust Brad into Kristina's arms.

We Are Family

A favor for Claudia's well-connected Uncle Sal (Vincent Pastore) goes awry, leading Sean to fear that the guy may be a goodfella. Meanwhile, Brad is more than willing to share a shower with Lily after a plumbing problem leaves the Finnertys all wet.

Mr. Roboto

Jimmy and his class are having a robot science fair. Sean goes all out to create a "first place" robot for Jimmy. When the judge of the fair calls Jimmy's robot "substantial robot" and "you could prop a door wide open with this!" Sean stands up and admits that he made his son's robot. He requests that the other parents do the same (It's obvious that the other robots were made by the parents.) In the end, Jimmy and his robot, fight Benji (his classmate) and his robot in a robot battle! Benji, who was marvelously acted wins!

Don't Fear the Reefer

Sean's takes a swing at tree surgery and ends up causing a blackout during the superbowl. But his biggest concern is what he saw through Lily's window while chopping the tree -- Lily holding a bag of pot. But what's even more shocking is where Lily got the weed: out of Sean's closet. With the blackout, Dan O'Keefe moves his Superbowl party to the Finnerty home, where they listen to a play-by-play given by Jimmy from his 5-inch TV.

Take It to the Limit

Lily's compulsive credit-card usage sinks Sean's plans to take Jimmy and his friends to a pricey waterpark; Eddie refuses to open up to his family about the contents of his mysterious locked box. (TV Guide)

Eddie Said Knock You Out

Sean accepts a challenge from his obnoxious neighbor, Mr. O'Keefe, for a boxing match. But he has second thoughts when he discovers Eddie's tried to fix the fight. Meanwhile, Claudia becomes enraged when she learns about a rumour that she's had breast enhancement surgery.

Safety Dance

While Sean and Claudia are chaperoning at Lily's school dance, Sister Helen catches Lily and Dean red-handed with a bottle of liquor while they are making out. Lily insists she is innocent and that the booze is not hers. But it comes as a surprise to both Lily and Sister Helen when the real culprit is revealed. Meanwhile, Eddie has taken to using Walt as his goon to shake down his shady business associates.

Relax!

Sean and Claudia take the kids out for some fun at Action Mountain, but soon realize it's "Gay Day" at the theme park. When Sean and co-worker Paul run into each other, Sean endures an awkward conversation with him, while simultaneously doing his best to prove to Paul that he is straight and also realizing that Paul is not. When Sean shares this new information with his other work buddies, he realizes he has said too much about Paul and must do something to make it up to him. Meanwhile, Eddie brings his date Gretchen to dinner at Sean and Claudia's, and Lily becomes convinced that Gretchen is hitting on Dean

The Kids Are Alright

When Sean and Claudia win a free weekend in Atlantic City, Eddie offers to look after the boys while they are away. At first suspicious of his offer, they succumb because they desperately want the time away. But when they return from their trip to find Jimmy and Henry locked in the basement, they are shocked to find out that it was Lily and not Eddie who put them there. As Lily tries to explain what happened at home over the weekend, it becomes clear to Sean and Claudia that, surprisingly, Eddie was not such a bad choice to take care of the kids after all, even if he really did have an ulterior motive.

Swearin' to God

When Sean finally tires of Sister Helen's incessant criticism of his parenting skills, he starts to verbally fight back, leading her to retort with language one wouldn't expect to hear from a nun. Simultaneously shocked and ecstatic at finally having something to hold over her, Sean is desperate for a witness to Sister Helen's transgression. After someone comes forward to back him up, Sean takes glee in blackmailing Sister Helen into doing a number of favors for him and his family, but his excitement doesn't last for long...

Eddie and This Guy with Diamonds

Claudia is shocked to see Sean working with a roadside correctional cleanup crew, but when she confronts him about it, he insists she must have been mistaken. He eventually confesses he was nabbed for buying stolen diamond earrings from a guy Eddie knows, but that there's a perfectly good explanation for it. Meanwhile Lily agonizes over the treatment of donkeys that are being used for the annual "donkey basketball" charity event at school, and she and Brad decide to take matters into their own hands.

I Fought the In-Laws

The minor insults of Claudia's visiting parents get so far under an insecure Sean's skin that it starts to look like he's gone out of his mind. Meanwhile, karaoke leads to an unlikely liplock between Brad and Lily.

Dust in the Wind

When Sean and Eddie's cousin Scott dies from one of his many daredevil acts, they are determined to honor his wishes and scatter his ashes from the water tower, one of Scott's favorite hangouts. But when Scott's family has more traditional plans for his remains, Sean and Eddie are forced to switch his ashes and take matters into their own hands by scattering his Tupperware-borne ashes over the old water tower. Meanwhile, Lily meets a cute guy at the funeral.

Oops!...I Did It Again

A home-pregnancy test in the trash has Sean convinced Lily is with child, but it may be Claudia who has something unexpected to tell him. Meanwhile, Lily learns the truth about the musical circumstances surrounding her birth; and Jimmy sings the blues about the zit that is taking over his face.

I Didn't Start the Fire

Fed up with his subway job, Sean quits in a moment of frustration and takes Eddie up on his offer to go into business together. They buy the Red Boot Pub, an old Irish bar on Staten Island. Claudia can't believe Sean would give up his union job to go into business with Eddie, but Sean convinces her he can make it work—until he finds out that Eddie has other intentions for the bar, such as burning it down for the insurance. Meanwhile, Lily, Jimmy and Brad are ecstatic when they get served real drinks for the first time, but their plan backfires when they can't stomach what they ordered.

Mustang Lily

Since the bar renovations have left the Finnertys strapped for cash, Claudia convinces Sean to appeal to her father Tony for a loan. When he does, Tony tells Sean he has to think about it, and to further torture him, gives Lily his coveted Mustang. Fed up with the grief Tony has been giving him about money and his parenting skills, Sean takes the Mustang out for a joyride, but loses it in a street race to a young punk. Meanwhile, Jimmy reveals the truth about the tooth fairy to Henry, who decides to milk Tony for cash by pretending to lose a handful of "teeth."

Cat Scratch Fever (a.k.a. The Bitch Is Back)

Claudia throws a fit when she learns that Sean and Eddie have hired Nicole, Claudia's rival from high school, as a bartender at the bar and the high school rivalry she and Nicole had is back in play. Claudia demands that Sean fire Nicole, but when Sean asks Eddie to take care of the situation, Eddie's tactic backfires on Sean and Eddie ends up promoting Nicole. Meanwhile Lily tells Dean she loves him at a loud rap concert but can't figure out if he heard her.

Drive Me Crazy

For the second time, Lily has failed her behind-the-wheel exam. But this time it's not her fault, it's Sean's, who went out of her way to sabotage her driving test by teaching her rediculous driving tips, such as the all-important "W-turn." In other events, Claudia is having a devil of a time keeping Henry and Jimmy from playing a violent video game condemned by Sister Helen -- but she winds up addicted to it herself.

Just Like a Woman

The boys mock Sean when he can't get the lugnuts off of the car, leaving him to have his wife attract a trucker's attention to change the flat tire while he sits in drag in the backseat. Elsewhere, Eddie holds a garage sale at Sean's house where he sells off hot merchandise and his brother's possessions, and he welcomes the kids to partake in the sale. But Lily is mortified when Brad buys her old bra from Eddie, then boasts to the school that he and Lily have slept together.

Henry's Been Working for the Drug Squad

After learning about the dangers of drugs at school, Henry is horrified to find a tiny marijuana plant in the backyard, and arranges an intervention with Sean. Dealing with their own drug wars, Lily tries to kick her caffeine habit and Brad sells his urine to the basketball team for their drug tests.

Cuts Like a Knife

When Sean chickens out of getting the vasectomy he and Claudia agreed on, he does everything possible to keep her from finding out—which proves to be difficult when she puts the moves on him thinking they are in the clear. When Sean makes a number of excuses as to why he can't do the deed, Claudia starts to worry that he is no longer attracted to her. Once Eddie catches onto Sean, he encourages Claudia to turn the seduction heat up to high. Meanwhile, Lily tutors Brad in math, but is dismayed when she realizes that he knows more than she does and accuses him of using her for his own perverted reasons.

Who Are You?

Sean and Claudia are shocked to learn that Jimmy has been shoplifting and try to figure out his motivations for stealing. Elsewhere, Lily agonizes over what to wear for dinner with Dean's parents. Brad helps her find the perfect outfit, but Dean's parents turn out to be not so great. Meanwhile, Henry brings home his class's pet lizard.

Welcome to the Working Week

Lily goes on a shopping spree with her "emergency credit card," resulting in her having to pay back the bill by getting a job -- at the bar. Meanwhile, Eddie fumes over a scathing review of the bar; and Henry takes energy preservation to the extreme.

Claudia in Disguise with Glasses

Claudia wreaks havoc at a wedding reception after losing her glasses -- though it may not be Claudia who lost them. Meanwhile Lily convinces Eddie to persuade Dean to get her the perfect birthday gift; and Brad begins spending way too much time with Jimmy.

Tonight's the Night

Lily winds up with the strangest bedfellow after Dean fails to pitch enough woo on her monumental 16th birthday. Meanwhile, Henry and Jimmy put Sean's shoddy fathering skills to the test with a con-game and a hot-wings binge.

Oh, What a Knight

Sean joins the Knights of Hibernia in order for Lily to compete in their beauty pageant.

Part Time Lover

When the dump closes, Walt finds himself with an abundance of free time and begins hanging around the house, much to the dismay of Lily, who finds it increasingly hard to get alone-time with Brad. So she schemes to get him a date online... which turns out to be with a drag-queen. Meanwhile, Eddie finds out that his girlfriend has another boyfriend.

Your Father Should Know (1)

After Sean confronts Brad's father, who's boasting that Lily and Brad have slept together, he confronts Claudia -- and finds out she already knew too. So when Brad mysteriously gets injured by an airborn Christmas decoration, everyone thinks Sean finally lost his temper. Meanwhile, the boys have spent Sean and Eddie's Liberty quarter collection, and Eddie is disgusted. So Eddie takes the boys out to teach them a lesson about stealing from other people -- by stealing a toy machine that Henry loaded with quarters.

Your Father Should Know (2)

Claudia feels it's time to smooth relations between the two families by having the O'Keefes over for dinner, but the evening falls apart when Brad's mother blames Lily for taking Brad's innocence. Meanwhile, Eddie teaches Jimmy and Henry a lesson in respecting other people's property after he finds out that they used his coin collection to play arcade games.

All the Young Nudes

Sean and Eddie hire strippers for the bar to help make ends meet -- then wind up being protested by the PTA. But what's most shocking is who set the PTA on their tails. Meanwhile, Brad asks Lily to break up with Dean. Lily doesn't want to hurt Dean, but agrees, only to find that he takes it far easier than she expected.

I Right the Wrongs

Brad is bothered that Lily is embarrassed to be seen with him, so Sean tries to make over his geeky image. But all Sean succeeds in doing is inadvertantly getting another student suspended from school... Which leads to an in-bar confrontation with Sister Helen. Meanwhile, Jimmy's "trademark" hair-length has become an issue at school. Elsewhere, Claudia helps Eddie deal with an unwise purchase he made for the bar -- by getting drunk with the customers. And Lily confesses her relationship with Brad in front of the entire school.

I Just Paid to Say I Love You

Brad plans a romantic date with Lily in New York City, but because one incident throws them off schedule, the rest of the evening becomes a disaster. Meanwhile, Eddie breaks a window in the sewing room, leaving it wide open for an animal to wander in...an animal which Henry wants to keep as a pet.

S.A.T. and Sympathy (a.k.a. S.A.T. Out of Hell)

Lily and Brad stress over their upcoming S.A.T. tests... and Claudia turns the SAT's into a competition. Meanwhile, Sean teaches Henry a lesson in compassion by taking in a homeless guy (Dave Sheridan).

Pay You Back with Interest

After Eddie buys an electric car to impress a girl, Sean unwisely gives Eddie a loan without telling Claudia, which results in her college enrollment check bouncing. Meanwhile, Brad discovers a tatoo with Dean's name, but Lily's plea for her parents to pay for her tattoo removal goes ignored.

Ticket to Ride

After a night of partying, Lily wakes up with a nasty hangover, her car parked on the porch and no memory of how she got home. To teach Lily a lesson, Sean and Claudia decide to sell her car and have her sign a contract that she will call them when she is too drunk to drive. Angry at losing her car, Lily pretends to be drunk night after night in order to make her parents give her a ride home. Meanwhile, Eddie makes a huge profit when he sells Lily's car for Sean.

Smells Like Teen Spirit

Sean talks to Jimmy about the birds and the bees; Brad accidentally sees Claudia naked.

Baby Come Back

Sean becomes jealous when Claudia is asked to do some modeling for a fashion photographer. So she storms out, leaving him to deal with a bath products party that she'd organized. Meanwhile Lily recieves her yearbook photos, which are terrible.

Been Caught Stealing

Sean and Eddie arrive at the bar to discover they've been robbed. Instead of calling the police, Walt suspiciously insists on cleaning up. Meanwhile, Lily and Brad spend a day at the mall and wind up in a fight, so Lily decides that she's gonna go out with another guy.

(She's Got) Kegs

Sean wants to go to a Sex Pistols concert, but Claudia has to study for a college test and Lily has a science project due, which leaves no one to watch the boys. But Lily leaves Brad holding the bag by skipping off to a frat party... where she runs into Claudia. Meanwhile, Eddie hires a bodyguard.

My Ex-Boyfriend's Back

Lily resents her ex-boyfriend's ability to move on so quickly after she dumped him; Eddie's stand-up routine flops until he incorporates material from Claudia and Sean's personal life.

Communication Breakdown

Sean forgets to give Claudia an important message from her professor; Jimmy hides the telephone bill to conceal his calls to a 976 number; Lily freaks out when Brad doesn't call her for three hours.

All Apologies

During a romantic getaway at a hotel, Claudia and Sean watch an adult film and realize it was shot in their home; a girl bullying Jimmy might actually like him.

I Think We're Alone Now

Sean and Claudia try to take advantage of an empty house and spend some alone time together; Lily realizes that Brad is not a good dancer.

Can't Get Next to You

Lily, Brad and Jimmy sign abstinence pledges at school; Brad asks Lily to marry him; Jimmy throws out everything that reminds him of sex. Meanwhile, Walt reveals that Eddie was born lefthanded.

Racketman

Brad's (Bret Harrison) dad, Dan (guest star Gregory Jbara), claims to have been taking tennis lessons for years, however, after Sean (Donal Logue) beats him at a tennis game, it is revealed that Dan has been having an affair and not taking lessons.

Me and Mrs. O

When the Finnerty's throw Brad a birthday party to take his mind off his parents' recent breakup, Sean secretly invites Brad's dad to the party as part of his "plan" to reunite him with his wife Connie (guest star Nancy Cassaro). Unfortunately, Connie has taken Claudia's (Megyn Price) advice to "get some," which prompts her to pursue Eddie.

Tombstone Blues

Claudia refuses to include Brad in the family portrait; Claudia's father-in-law (guest star Richard Riehle) gives her plot to his dead cat.

Pictures of Willy

Eddie persuades Sean to help him break into his ex-girlfriend's apartment to steal embarrassing photographs.

It's Hard to be a Saint in the City

This one might be better: Sean is having trouble keeping the bar alive and Claudia asks him to reconsider running it. With St. Patrick's Day around the corner Eddie tries to lure customers over from rival pubs. Meanwhile, Brad and Lily prepare for the parade and Jimmy is having trouble understanding the meaning of St. Patrick's day.

Beat on the Brat

Sean disciplines one of Henry's bratty friends; Lily asks Brad to choose between her and his geeky friends; Eddie uses a Jewish online dating service.

The Cheat Is On

Claudia copies Lily's school paper, only to find out Lily plagiarized the essay. Sean hints to Sister Helen that Lily may have cheated, but he learns too late that the school's ¿zero-tolerance¿ policy on cheating could result in Lily being expelled.

You're So Vain

Claudia's father, Tony, has returned to the Finnertys for and operation, and the rest of the family is very sympathetic, except for Sean.

Pressure Drop

Claudia tries to alleviate Sean's hypertension and high blood pressure by running the household all by herself but everything goes awry. Jimmy gets suspended from school, which causes a set of problems all its own, and Lily and Brad break her bed so they steal the family car... and get it impounded.

Get a Job

Lily is less than thrilled about Brad's new job, which is taking up all of his time. Meanwhile, Walt's having problems finding work, so Sean and Eddie offer him a job at the bar... but they soon find that he takes over. Jimmy's at the age where he finds his mother to be an embarrassment, so Claudia sets out to bond with him.

Space Camp Oddity

Lily has her doubts when Brad tells her about a girl he once had a relationship with at space camp named Lana. But Brad, tired of Lily thinking this, changes his Summer plans and boards a bus to space camp with a very cute, and very real, Lana.

The Policy of Truth

Brad, after admitting he hooked up with his space camp buddy, Lana (guest star Mila Kunis), begs for forgiveness from Lily until he learns of her infidelity.

Man, I Feel Like a Woman

Sean's feeling sick, and Eddie convinces him that he has sympathetic pregnancy syndrome. Brad and Lily decide to just be friends but their hormones get the best of them. Jimmy tries to impress the new neighbor girl by pretending to be a sports fanatic. Eddie resumes his relationship with his ex, Faye, who's become more bitter and angry than ever.

One Is the Loneliest Number

Now that Eddie is spending all of his free time with Faye, lonely Sean finds every possible thing wrong with her, including the way she parks her car, which he "accidentally" smashes into. Meanwhile, Lily's attempt to make Brad jealous by dating Mocha Joey backfires when Brad points out that Lily and Mocha Joey have nothing in common; and Claudia gets upset when she finds out that Sean has told everyone that she is pregnant.

Day Tripper

You Better You Bet

Claudia is upset with Sean when she finds out he gambled the money for the baby's crib and used the winnings to buy a new TV. When Claudia accidentally breaks the TV, she convinces Eddie to bring her to the track so she can win money to repair the set. Meanwhile, Jimmy must endure a painfully long day of father-son bonding to keep Sean from finding out about the broken TV, and Lily enrolls in a Big/Little Sister program, but is dumped by her Little Sister.

Psycho Therapy

Brad and Lily fight it out in a race for student body president...but it seems all the sniping and mudslinging is a mask to hide the former lovers' true feelings about each other. Meanwhile, Eddie is depressed and seeks the help of a quack psychiatrist...and Claudia tries not to learn the baby's sex, wanting to be surprised.

I'm Looking Through You

Sean's old friend Dave is in town, a children's performer who goes under the name "J.J. Bodybuddy". He lets Dave stay at his house...but it isn't entirely altruistic. He's promised the school that he can get J.J. Bodybuddy to do a show for the kids. The problem is, Dave--a recovered alcoholic who hasn't touched the stuff in ten years--gets too drunk to do the gig, and Sean has to put on the Bodybuddy leotard hismelf. Meanwhile, Lily is jealous of the new baby, and is letting her feelings be known vociferously.

Mystery Dance

With the bar in financial trouble, Sean and Claudia are having difficulty paying their bills, so Sean applies for a manager position with T.J. Shenanigans, while Claudia works from home collecting unpaid medical bills. Sean and Eddie contemplate selling the bar after finding out that they are competing for the same job. Meanwhile, Brad and Lily get back together, to the dismay of broken-hearted Taya. On the rebound, Taya starts dating Jimmy to help win Brad back.

Do Ya Think I'm Sexy?

Depressed that she doesn't feel sexy while pregnant, Claudia gets a boost when her cute study buddy, Steve, flirts with her. But her bubble is burst when she finds out that Sean paid him to do it. Meanwhile, Lily helps Eddie write material for his stand-up routine, but it backfires when another comic steals Eddie's jokes. Brad gets a reluctant Jimmy into Sciencenauts and his attitude changes when he finds out that the "secret" of every meeting involves porn.

Tom Sawyer

Lily becomes insecure when she learns that she's "not school smart." So when Brad snags an interview at Yale, she becomes jealous and connives to land her own interview. Sean takes a second job as a limo driver, to avoid doing work at home. Claudia tries to convince her neighbor, Arianna, that the Finnerty clan is not trash. Jimmy seeks advice from his uncle Eddie for his debut in the school production of Tom Sawyer.

The Letter(s)

Sean becomes infuriated after receiving letters from the Home Owner's Association telling him to clean up his house, while Claudia is happy about the positive changes to the neighborhood. Meanwhile, Lily insists that Brad buys her an anniversary gift from a list that she's made... but he defies her wishes and gets her a sexy nighty... that he can't enjoy because he's busy picturing Sister Helen, who he ran into at the lingerie store. And Jimmy shocks the family by making an unusual lifestyle choice -- he announces that he's a vegetarian.

Crazy

Eddie's ex, Amy, displays naked photos of him in an art gallery, but he's too afraid to ask her to remove them... because she's crazy! Meanwhile, Sean is having problems trying to sell the Red Boot; Claudia has a baby shower; and Jimmy fills in on the cheerleading squad to get close to the girls.

Hello, Goodbye

In the series finale, Claudia and Sean miss Lily's graduation (thus spoiling Lily's senior-prank plan) when Claudia goes into labor. Meanwhile, the Finnerty boys learn that Walt has a girlfriend... his cleaning lady!
