The accuracy of these subtitles in matching the movie's dialogue was pretty good; there were missing sentences and quite a few incorrect words. The biggest problem I had was in syncing the movie and the subtitles. Since I'm very new to using subtitle files, it did give me an excellent opportunity to work with syncing problems. As I started playback and the dialogue began, it was easy to see that I needed to add a delay to the start time of the subtitles. I believe that I found it was necessary to add 6 seconds. Sorry that I have to guess about the exact times, but my disability has caused some serious memory damage and I didn't think to write down the exact times. When I had the subtitles starting at the correct time and the first few minutes of the movie and the subtitle file were correctly synced, I was really pleased that I'd been able to accomplish that and was now enjoying watching the movie. Then there was a period of time in the movie with action only, no dialogue. Unfortunately, as the next period of dialogue started, I had to double the delay. I went back to the beginning of the movie and discovered that it no longer started at the best time, but now the subtitles were delayed too much. As I finally settled back to watch the movie again, I discovered that as each new period of dialogue started after a period of just observing action in the movie, the subtitles had to be adjusted each time. After confirming that fact, I came back to this site and selected another subtitle file that ended up working almost perfectly. Because I'm new to using subtitle files, I don't know if I should even report problems with a certain file when I've been able to download a much better match.

In spite of the syncing problems, I'm still very grateful for all the work that goes into being able to offer these subtitle files to users. Thanks to everyone involved in the creation of the files, including the uploading and maintenance of this excellent site at podnapisi.net.
